Montana Grizzly Annual Wine and Beer Festival is Early This Year

If you look forward to this annual event as much as I do, you've probably gotten into the late-October or early-November mindset for it.

But that's not the case this year for the 13th annual Grizzly Scholarship Association and Summit Beverage Wine and Beer Festival. The "social event of the year" will be Friday, September 21, 7:00 till 10:00 p.m., at the Adams Center on the University of Montana campus.

The festival consists of wonderful wine and beer tastings from a number of vendors. And oh, boy, the food!  Delicious  food samples from many of Missoula's top restaurants and caterers is another highlight. You can also browse Griz memorabilia and maybe try your hand with some bids on silent auction items.

Tickets are $50 each, must be 21 and older. Proceeds benefit the GSA and their mission of providing scholarships for student-athletes. You can get tickets at the GSA office in the Adams Center or simply give them a call at 406-243-6481. Tickets are also available at the M Store, 124 North Higgins, downtown Missoula. and of course at gogriz.com.  Get that early date in your calendar and we hope to see you there!
