Montana Grizzlies Home for Softball Saturday, Soccer Sunday
The Montana Grizzly football team may be out of town, but you can still get your Griz fix this weekend!
For fans who might not know or have forgotten, there is some fall softball. The Montana softball team will continue its fall exhibition schedule season Saturday (September 29) when they host Providence from Great Falls at 11:00 a.m. and North Idaho at 4:00 p.m. Action takes place at the beautiful Grizzly Softball Field complex on South Avenue just off Higgins. The Griz already have two exhibition wins this season, 6-1 and 18-0 over MSU Billings on September 16.
And you soccer fans can be treated to Youth Day and Poster Day as the Grizzly soccer team continues Big Sky conference play with a home game on Sunday (September 30), hosting Idaho at 1:00 p.m. at South Campus Stadium next to the softball complex. All kids 12 and under get in free and stick around to get your free Griz soccer poster. Players will be on hand after the match to autograph them.
Out thanks to Joel Carlson in UM Sports Information for the reminders. It should be decent enough weather to enjoy a great Griz weekend!
