One of my favorite things to eat for breakfast is monkey bread. If you’ve never had it, then you’re missing out on little pieces of deliciousness that pair delightfully with coffee, tea or milk. Monkey bread is the one breakfast I will make even if I don’t have to cook for anyone else. The only bad thing about it is that it tastes so good that it’s usually all I can do to keep myself from eating the entire batch myself.

If you’re looking for an easy and tasty breakfast to make this weekend, then give this monkey bread recipe a try. It is sure to please everyone in the family.

Monkey Bread Crockpot Style

1/2 cup syrup

1 large tube of biscuits

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Throw the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg into a medium sized bowl and stir until combined. Pour 1/4 cup of syrup into the bottom of the crockpot. Cut the biscuits into quarters. Roll the biscuit bits into the melted butter and then roll them into the brown sugar mixture. Place the bits into the crockpot and then pour the remaining 1/4 cup of syrup on top of the biscuit bits. Bake in the crockpot on low for 2 hours.
