Teenage boys everywhere are casting votes for this gal to be named Mom of the Year. But the courts are not so enthusiastic. According to Associated Press, a Moreau, N.Y. mom must perform 50 hours of community service and stay out of trouble for six months in order to get charges dropped, or face penalties for hiring strippers for her son's 16th birthday party. Judy Viger faced five misdemeanor counts after two exotic dancers performed for her son and his friends at a bowling alley. Ms. Viger claims she thought the dancers were only going to do "bikini-grams" and that when she tried to stop them, things got out of hand. Well, that's better than things getting in hands, although I'm sure the boys would disagree. DB
