The Missoula Adventure Crew (MAC) has teamed up with the Bitterroot Trail Preservation Alliance to host a community clean-up day for the Missoula to Lolo section of the Bitterroot Trail this Saturday (March 31st) starting at 10am.

Everyone is encourage to join in to keep Montana as beautiful as always. Trash pick up will begin at the Bunkhouse Bridge in Missoula to the crossing of Ridgeway Dr. and Glacier Dr. in Lolo. Missoula County Parks & Trails is lending some safety vests and garbage bags to help in the efforts. MAC will also be providing some light gloves but if you have heavy duty gloves please bring them.

Everyone will meet at the Northside of the Bunkhouse Bridge on Hwy 93 around 10am to distribute supplies, split up into groups, then get assigned to different sections of the trail and organize a shuffling plan.

Jean with the Bitterroot Trail Preservation Alliance has graciously offered to host a chili feed for all volunteers at her home after the clean up.

RSVP is needed asap so they can request the appropriate amount of vests and get a head count for the chili feed. You can get more information on their Facebook event page here.
