Missoula Takes McCartney Cake

With a Paul McCartney cake ready to be cut in our kitchen, I marvel at this accomplishment. With the possible exception of Fargo ND, I don't see a market even remotely close in size to Missoula on Paul McCartney's "Out There" concert tour schedule. Our August 5 date at Washington Grizzly Stadium is sandwiched between Minneapolis (August 2) and Salt Lake City (August 7). A few of the other "dinky" stops include Atlanta, Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles and Phoenix. McCartney fans have got to be looking at the tour dates and venues scheduled so far, and thinking, "huh?" References from Mick and Elton, I guess. Anyway my congratulations to the University of Montana Athletics Marketing Department among others for playing a big part in pulling that one off. Nice work folks, and best of luck with what I'm sure is a huge undertaking! DB
