The fire that burned a portion of the Missoula Senior Center on Friday, April 12, as well as the fire at the Boone and Crockett Club the same day, have been deemed to be caused by arson. The Missoula Police Department is in search of information on the suspect and the people with him, all three of which were captured by surveillance cameras. At the senior center, an outbuilding was fully engulfed in flames and the fire extended into the main building. The main building filled with smoke, but crews were able to catch the fire before it did too much damage to the main area.

The Boone and Crockett Club fire was started by a male suspect who put something against an exterior doorway and lit it on fire, which resulted in minimal damage. He was caught by surveillance cameras, and police are now using the footage from those cameras to find the suspect and two other people he was with.
