According to Sergeant Scott Pastian of the Missoula Police Department, authorities are looking for a suspect in an attempted arson that occurred early Wednesday morning, April 24.

"At about 12:30 a.m., patrol officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of Knowles Street, and learned that the residents there had noticed a fire in the back yard. There was no significant property damage from the fire, which is believed to be arson caused," Pastian said. "We have a possible suspect we're going to be looking at, and the case has been assigned for further investigation."
