Missoula North-South Freeway? [POLL]
I absolutely DO NOT like the morning and afternoon traffic on Reserve Street!
There are way too many cars and stoplights that lead to a patience-taxing drive. Brooks and other major north(ish) – south(ish) streets can be just as bad on most days. It seems that a city this size should not have such congestion on one of it’s main arterials!
Now, I’m not a city planner or D.O.T. specialist, but what if there were a short freeway that spanned the distance between I-90 and, oh I don’t know… somewhere south west of the Missoula Country Club? You would have exits for Mullan Rd., South 3rd St. West, and South Ave. West.
More convenient? YES! Expensive and intrusive? UN-IMAGINABLE!
