Missoula Man Jailed Over Friday Night Knife Assault [YouTube]
A Missoula man, 39 year-old Jake Reynolds, is in the Missoula County Jail after a knife assault that occurred on Friday night in the 200 block of South Russell.
Sergeant Mike Hebert with the Missoula Police Department said both Reynolds and a 17 year-old juvenile were injured in the altercation.
"When officers arrived, they found two people wounded," Hebert said. "A 39 year-old Missoula male and a 17 year-old Missoula male. Both suffered non life-threatening wounds, and both were treated at St. Patrick Hospital and released."
Hebert said the older man was arrested.
"Upon further investigation, the 39 year-old male was arrested for felony assault with a weapon," Hebert said.
Jail records indicate that Jacob David Reynolds, 39, was in the facility as of Saturday afternoon, charged with felony assault with a weapon. Bond was set at $50,000. Reynolds will appear in Missoula Justice Court on Monday.
