A Missoula man, 19 year-old Alex Beckettbishop, was arrested early Monday morning after allegedly breaking into another man's home and challenging him to a fight.

Missoula Police Department Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said the incident occurred just after 10 a.m.

"The male went to a residence and began creating a disturbance outside," Welsh said. "Inside the residence was a man with his two year-old daughter. The male, later identified as Alex Bishop, came into the residence and was yelling at the resident, challenging him to fight. They were known to each other before the incident. The resident felt afraid enough to call 9-1-1. Officers responded and took Mr. Beckettbishop into custody."

Welsh said no one was injured, but the resident was concerned about how the incident would affect his two year-old daughter.

Beckettbishop was placed in the Missoula County Jail on $50,000 bond. He will appear in Missoula Justice Court on Tuesday afternoon.
