Missoula Leaf Collection Starting up, Schedule and Parking Instructions

The time of year of raking all those leaves, but the nice thing is that the city of Missoula will clean them up all you have to do is get them into the street. There are some times and important parking instructions if you want them to be picked up.

Not only is it nice they do this for you to keep you from having to bag, it also helps them out as well. Keeps streets cleaned and lessens the amount at the landfill. Also according to the city, it's helping turn leaves into compost at a local composting operation.

Parking Instructions to allow sweeper to get through and collect the leaves.

Even-numbered Days: Park on the even numbered side of the street from 7:00a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Odd-Numbered Days: Park on the odd-numbered side of the street from 7:00a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Special Sweeping Districts: Districts are posted. Parking is prohibited on BOTH sides of the
street from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Vehicles will be towed to the nearest parking space, usually within
a block of the vehicle’s original location.
