It's sad to think about, but kids don't have to be homeless to go hungry. Each night, Missoula kids who are your friends and neighbors go to bed without dinner because their families cannot afford food.

Thanks to Missoula's low income free breakfast and lunch program, these children can count on at least two healthy meals each weekday during the school year. However, while most kids are getting excited about 12 weeks off from school, some kids are dreading the long break because they don't know if they will be fed, or how often.

Please share these locations and times on Facebook and anywhere you think that low income families may see the information. Many times, these are families who you would never guess need the help.

Kids younger than 18 years old may eat for free this summer at the following places, and do not need to be enrolled students at the schools.

1861 South 12th Street, Monday through Friday, Breakfast 8:30-10 a.m., Lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
