Missoula Girl Ambassador Fundrasier

We always like to celebrate the accomplishments of our local youth. Maggie Murphy is a student at Sentinel High School. She was recently named a People to People Student Ambassador. It's an amazing opportunity for Maggie. She will be going on a 17-day trip to Australia, where she will see some of the major landmarks, live with a familly and learn about a new culture and government. To help cover some of the major expense for which she and her family are responsible, there is a spaghetti dinner and silent auction this Saturday, March 9, at Westside Lanes and Fun Center, 4:00 till 7:00 p.m. If you know Maggie or her family, or you just like to support projects like this, I hope you can fit it into your schedule.

The program was founded by President Eisenhower in 1956. It is an international travel program that gives kids a chance to learn a new culture and mature as young adults. We wish Maggie the very best and hope they sell lots of spaghetti! DB
