But that only tells a small part of the story that is Missoula Works. Their positive and life-changing employment opportunities have enriched the lives of so many. And that includes their newest online product venture brimming with backpacks, totes, handbags, fanny packs and so much more.

WHAT IS MISSOULA WORKS AND HOW CAN THEY WORK FOR YOU?

Since 2016, Missoula Works has provided employment to over 1,000 people in our community who have experienced barriers to employment, specifically homelessness or incarceration.Missoula Works offers wrap-around support for every employee, ensuring the opportunity to solve problems before they start. Each employee is paired with a personal development coordinator the supports their long-term goals toward stability.

Its Temp-to-Hire staffing agency is Missoula's only non-profit recruiting service that connects eligible employees with businesses. That includes the Get It Done division, with lawn, labor and landscape crews offering high quality work at a fair price. If you feel these services would be of benefit, just give them a call.

Who is behind the label?

Missoula Works Sewing Ventures, the newest business line of Missoula Works, creates products aimed at the adventurer in all of us, including picnic and beach totes, backpacks, and lots more. All products are cut, sewn and assembled in Missoula by the very people they have made it their mission to serve - residents who want to work but struggle to find sustainable employment due to their backgrounds or circumstances.

Various vinyl and fabric materials have been generously donated by local businesses to help maintain a steady flow of products. Stitchers are trained by some of the most accomplished needleworkers, paid a living wage and supported through other services to help ensure success in both personal and professional life.
