Missoula County Outdoor Burning About to Close
If that pile of debris out by your place has not gone up in flames yet, you better get after it.
Fire officials with the MCFPA, Missoula County Fire Protection Association, have restricted debris burning (open burning) starting this Saturday, July 1. With the warmer, dryer weather settling in, people who burned this spring should go check their burn piles to make sure they are fully extinguished.
While there are no other restrictions at this time, you are urged to be very careful with fires and double check before recreating in the great outdoors. Follow those fireworks laws, too, please! Lots of really good info from the MCFPA right here. Be safe and have a wonderful 4th of July weekend.
