Missoula County Enters Extreme Fire Danger Level !

Missoula County fire officials have moved our area in the “Extreme Fire Danger Category”. Siting dry conditions and fires already burning officials made the move Monday afternoon. With the exception of campfires in approved fire rings, open burning is prohibited. All open fires, including campfires, are prohibited year-round on city open space and conservation lands. County officials also reminded drivers that there’s extra traffic on the roads with fire crews and equipment being moved so some extra caution is encouraged.
