Missoula City Fire Department was called to a structure fire at about 10:30 Friday night at 630 Dixon Avenue, and another early Sunday morning at 1407 Stoddard. 

In both fires, three engine companies and a battalion chief responded, along with city police and an ambulance.

On the Dixon fire.. one bedroom on the first floor was fully engulfed when they arrived, and all the occupants had already left the building. The fire was quickly knocked down and brought under control.

No injuries were reported, and damage was estimated at about $5,000.

In the Stoddard fire, an apartment on the second floor had heavy smoke and fire in the living room. The occupant of the apartment was not home at the time, and all other residents in the building had been safely evacuated.

Damage in that fire is estimated to be over $15,000.

Both fires are currently under investigation.
