Missoula 9/11 Remembrance Events

13 years ago today we were under attack, a day to never be forgotten. Some events around the area to take part in.The United Veterans Council of Missoula and Ravalli Counties and the Missoula Exchange Club are sponsoring a Never Forget Service at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Rose Garden along Brooks Street to pay tribute to the men, women and children who died on 9/11. The Celtic Dragon Pipe Band, which will lead the procession of honor and color guards of the American Legion Post 27, VFW Post 209.

A 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 12:15 p.m. on the Missoula County courthouse lawn by the Memorial Tree.

The Missoula Dream Center, 2023 S. Higgins Ave., will be sponsoring an event at 7 p.m.

In honor of the Day of Service and Remembrance, the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program will distribute blue ribbons to volunteers around Missoula who are making a difference.
