Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Nearly Trashed

I don't buy a lot of scratch tickets, but when I do I tend to put the death grip on them until after I lose. A couple in Massachusetts bought a $5 ticket at a vending machine while grocery shopping. The ticket went into one of the grocery bags and was then forgotten. But the next day hubby asks the Mrs. if she had scratched the ticket. She said no so they started digging through the trash and found it one of the discarded grocery bags. And what do you know? The couple will get a one-time lump sum payment of $650,000. I don't care how many coupons you have, that would have felt like one pricey grocery shopping trip!   DB
