A meeting will be held Thursday, January 13th to discuss economic and environmental effects the transportation of the mega-loads will have in Bonner. Two oil giants ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobile continue to seek permits to transport hundreds of large loads of equipment from Lewiston, ID into Montana with some of those trucks ending up in Alberta, Canada. If approved the loads will be transported through the Bonner area. Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer supports the loads saying it will bring economic growth to the state. The meeting is scheduled to held at 7pm at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bonner. The program is open to the public. Follow the link below for more information.
