Man Tunnels Under Road Into Mall

Officials in Ontario, Canada have discovered a 600’ tunnel from a garage in a nearby neighborhood to a shopping mall. The tunnel runs under a freeway and has been used by residents of the neighborhood for quite some time. One man has been charged with mischief and illegal excavation.

His neighbor defended the tunnel saying it made it easy to get to the mall without having to cross the busy road above.  Officials aren’t sure what to do. Mall managers are thinking of modernizing the tunnel and putting it to greater use.
