Sure, your team sucks. Lots of fumbles, penalties and only one touchdown Sunday. It isn't worth facing felony criminal mischief charges. Oh, and possession of marijuana, which may have contributed to the stupidity.

Associated Press tells us that after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were dumped by the New York Giants Sunday, a Florida man tried to set the team's giant flag on fire outside the team's corporate offices.

The $26,000 flag measures 80 feet by 50 feet. It features the Tampa Bay skull and two crossed swords logo. The red banner is on a 15-story pole near the Buccaneers' Raymond James Stadium.

The flag is fire-retardant and did not actually go up in flames, but a small portion was damaged. Daniel Raboni faces those felony criminal mischief and marijuana possession charges.

Gosh, image how mad he'd have been if the Bucs had lost to, say, the Detroit Lions!
