Several vehicles were broken into this week in Lolo, most of which were unlocked at the time.

Missoula County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Paige Pavalone said one break-in occurred Wednesday night on the east side of Lolo.

"Two vehicles that were parked on the driveway both had the keys in the ignition," Pavalone said. "Valuables inside the vehicle including a purse, a valuable pair of sunglasses, and the keys to both vehicles were stolen. The purse that was stolen had a wallet inside that included a debit card and checkbook, all of those contents were stolen from the vehicles."

Pavalone said another vehicle located inside an open garage on Cap De Villa on the hill in Lolo was moved out and then back into the garage,

"The keys to that vehicle were stolen, as well," Pavalone said. "Because of the time frame involved, we are thinking that these incidents may be related. We are asking the residents in Lolo to keep their eyes open, keep their homes well-lit and locked, and keep us informed if they have any information regarding these vehicle break-ins."

Pavalone is asking anyone with information to call Missoula Crimestoppers at 721-44-44.
