Line of Duty Appreciation Day Planned at The University of Montana

The University Center's Student Involvement Network will host a Life in the Line of Duty Appreciation Day. The event will honor those who serve our country and  community, including members of the police, fire and sheriff's departments, ROTC, veterans affairs, U.S. Army, National Guard, Marines and Navy. Community members are invited. The celebration begins with a barbecue on the UM Library Mall, followed by guest speaker Marine Corps Recon Cpl. Shad Pepion. Shad is from Great Falls and is an Oglala Lakota Sioux and Blackfeet Tribal member and six-year veteran of the Marines.
