Fishing season opens this weekend in Montana. The major rivers around here are open, with restrictions, year around but as of Saturday all the smaller streams and lakes will be open. The major rivers are pretty well “blown-out” with high water, so the lakes may prove to be your best bet. It’s always wise to check regulations and make sure you have a license.
