Leash Your Evil Pet Squirrel to Avoid Lawsuit

It seems like it's been a rather quiet year for frivolous lawsuits, but fortunately we get to wrap up the year with a squirrelly one!

A contractor in Chesapeake, Virginia, is suing a couple for $90,000 for the bites and scratches he received after being attacked by their supposed "pet" squirrel. The homeowners were also attacked by the squirrel from hell, and here's part of the problem: they don't have a pet squirrel, it just lives in the neighborhood.

Here's hoping the contractor doesn't suffer any further trauma and have to file more lawsuits, like say, being mauled by a butterfly.
