Lady Griz Coach Shannon Schweyen on Sports Talk Tonight

With confidence growing in her young team, it was awesome to spend some more time with the head coach!

Scott Gurnsey and I were honored to once again visit with University of Montana Lady Griz basketball coach Shannon Schweyen, coming off two big wins at the team's annual Holiday Classic over the weekend (and then a third straight win the night after this interview).

Shannon talked a lot about various players who are delivering in a big way so far this season, some performances expected, others very pleasant surprises. Also, one more player will be joining the roster soon, and the coach talks about how excited she is about what our newest Lady Griz should be able to contribute.
