Join Us During Live Griz Tailgate Show Broadcasts

Tailgating is lots of fun. And we have one of the most entertaining venues for you Montana Grizzly football fans.

If you go to the games (or even if you don't), please stop by and say hi to (left to right) former Griz receiver Scott Gurnsey, the new voice of the Griz Riley Corcoran and me, as we do the Statewide Tailgate Show. This is the two-hour pregame event prior to each Grizzly football game that airs live on News Talk KGVO, AM 1290 and FM 101.5. Yep, we are there two hours before kickoff! Which is cool, because so are a lot fans.

For home games we set up on stage at the Grizzly Scholarship Association tailgate site, which is across Campus Drive from the north end of Washington Grizzly Stadium. Lots of fans grab a beverage or two and listen to us on the PA system we have cranked out on the lawn. We are also joined for 20 minutes by Athletics Director Kent Haslam and Grizzly Scholarship Association Director Greg Sundberg for the UM Sports Journal. That's always a very popular segment.
