John Travolta Acted Creepy at Oscars on Purpose

John Travolta was acting like a creep at the Academy Awards on purpose. Or so says his rep.

The star had people talking after he got handsy with Idina Menzel, grabbing her chin at the awards telecast. The two came together to present the Best Original Song Oscar, a year after Travolta butchered the Broadway star's name at the previous show.

Now his rep tells Us Weekly that the moment, which followed a similarly weird run-in with Scarlett Johansson on the red carpet, was planned. "It was rehearsed in total,” his rep said. “John Travolta loved working with Idina Menzel. John had a great time at the Oscars because his wife, Kelly Preston, and his daughter, Ella, were in attendance with him."
