Now that most of the traditional holiday meals have been served, we bring you possibly a new tradition. Or possibly not. But yak ranchers are sure hoping it takes the country by storm. They like to see yak be a go-to meal in the United States. One fellow in Kentucky who raises yaks says the meat is very tender and juicy and not as gamey as bison or deer. And as a bonus, yak meat is high in omega-3 fatty acids, which are thought to reduce heart disease, high blood pressure and cholesterol.

I've never tried it. Would love to hear from someone who has. Definitely doesn't sound like it tastes just like chicken.
