Just a guess, but it seems like it would be cheaper to just hire a kid to do the scoopin'. But since I don't have have an extensive background in poop DNA testing, I'll just stay upwind and let you folks decide for yourselves.

Associated Press let us know about an upscale apartment complex in Cascade Township, Michigan, that will be using DNA testing to go after residents who don't pick up after their pooches. And since about 60 percent of them are dog owners, it's much ado about a lot of poo.

DNA testing will be used to identify pets whose owners aren't following the picking up policy. If caught they could face a $350 fine. Yep, it's like Dog "CSI." Or Dog "Bones." Yeah, I like that one better.  DB
