Idaho Horse In Kentucky Derby

I think that's great, a Derby contestant from next door. A long shot, though. But at least now I have a reason to root for a specific horse rather than just for horse name I like the best. Rousing Sermon was raised in Parma ID at the Tree Top Ranches. Rousing Sermon qualified based on finishes in graded stakes races and an impressive 3rd place finish at the Louisiana Derby. And while he may be a real long shot (40-or-50 -to-1)  the owners say it would be a mistake to pass up a chance like this. Remember who sang the lyrics, "It's the chance of a lifetime in a lifetime of chance?" Go Rousing Sermon! DB
