Idaho Authorities Not Happy With Brewery Sign

Well, probably like you, I think it's pretty clever, but the Idaho Transportation Department is not pleased. They want Boise's Woodland Empire Ale Craft sign taken down because it looks too much like an official green and yellow highway sign, directional arrow and all. The department is concerned it might confuse drivers. The brewery's owner says he checked with Boise city officials first. But the highway department is claiming jurisdiction. The owner says he's disappointed, but he will remove the sign so as not to confuse drivers. I think I'd be more concerned that drivers weren't confused AFTER they leave the place. DB
