Normally with any backstage passes when you're getting your picture taken with the artist, you get to ask him or her a quick question. I had been thinking about what I wanted to ask Eric Church for a few days. He is a musician that I have wanted to see for many years so I wanted to have a plans so I didn't walk up and just stumble over my words like an idiot.

A few weeks ago I remember reading an article about Eric's five year old son Boone working before the shows for a wage of $10 per show. I thought it was interesting that a five year old was already making money and wondered what he was saving up for. So that's the question I decided to ask Eric Church backstage.

When I approached Eric for the picture with my wife Savannah he was really nice. We told him that we traveled from Missoula to see him and he said he loved Missoula. Which I though was cool, because he made it seem like he had spent time here before. After the photo was taken I asked my question. What was Boone doing with all that money he was making. Eric responded with right now he is saving and it's all going in his piggy bank. He did go on to mention that he wouldn't be surprised if some of that money went to buying new LEGO. So, obviously Boone has good taste in toys!
