I am the Only One Who Can Mess Up Peppermint Bark

Wow, I thought Peppermint Bark was so easy to make and sure enough I mess it up! Holiday fail for me but I am going to try one more time.

They say this is one of the easiest recipes to make, but I did something wrong and still trying to figure out what it was. The white chocolate chips were melting and then turned hard? I have no idea and the peppermint chips didn't stay on all that well.... I am in need of the baking holiday elf.

I even ended up attempting to put the white chocolate on the cookie sheet and add the peppermint chips and some sprinkles and in the morning when I did break it up all the stuff fell off.

HELP!
