If you're not real familiar with all the worthwhile projects Safari Club International is involved with in western Montana, here's a great way to learn more.

The 19th annual SCI fundraising banquet is Saturday, April 7, at the Missoula Hilton Garden Inn. Doors open at 4:00, dinner at 6:30, live auction to follow. SCI invites you to help them "Embrace our Future" and raise funds for projects that will help ensure hunters rights for generations to come. Dinner, drinks, raffles, auctions and lots of fun!

The Western Montana Chapter of Safari Club International funds numerous conservation, humanitarian and education efforts throughout the year. Those projects include organizing disabled youth hunts, purchase of a handicap-accessible van for disabled hunters programs, donations to many youth camps, land purchases and land owner support, just to name a few. 100% of their income is used by SCI, with at least 70% staying locally in western Montana. The local chapter's average is closer to 85%, and since 1996, they have participated in projects totaling over $1.8 million, by leveraging the direct contributions raised by Safari Club International members.

Tickets for the banquet are $65 each or $120 per couple. Each banquet ticket includes a raffle ticket for a Ruger American Rifle. You can learn lots more about Safari Club International and get tickets here. Or simply call 406-273-7224.

Here's wishing these folks a super successful banquet!
