Man, these stories of survival and beating the odds never cease to amaze me! How does a cat travel 2,300 miles from home and miraculously get reunited with its owners? Well, the travel part is a question that may be real hard to ever answer. Not that it matters. I'm sure there won't be an investigation. The microchip is the answer to the second part of the question. A gal in Albuquerque, New Mexico has been reunited with her kitten, Spice, who was turned in at an animal shelter in Westbrook, Maine! A man found Spice in a duffel bag and took her to the shelter. So that's the good news. Bad news for now is the owner can't afford to fly her home, but something tells me this is the kind of story that will garner lots of kindness and generosity from strangers and Spice will be on a plane soon!  DB
