If you are shipping Christmas gifts anywhere this holiday season, you need to know of deadlines set by the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx and United Parcel Service of America or UPS to assure delivery by Christmas.

The United States Postal Service has declared the following the latest for shipping to make sure you packages get to those you want for Christmas:

December 17th - Last day to ship to military for Christmas arrival

December 19th - Last day for most international shipping for Christmas arrival

December 20th - Last day to send First-Class Mail® for Christmas arrival

December 21st - Last day to send Priority Mail® for Christmas arrival

December 22nd - Last day for most Express Mail® for Christmas arrival

For Fed-Ex & UPS:

The latest is December. 25th — that’s right, Christmas – for FedEx SameDay delivery of packages shipped within the United States.

FedEx and UPS offer automatic tracking, insurance and time definite delivery dates. The U.S. Postal Service will add those services for additional charges.
