A hot weekend here in NW Montana had us all searching for a little shade and cool breeze. I found one in Seeley Lake!

Back in the woods in Seeley Lake is a few wonderful hikes, one of which is Morrell Falls. Someone told my friend it was about a mile hike...so not true! It is 2.5 miles one way and let me tell you, what a wonderful hike.

You go past the catholic Church, where you should make a stop and say hi to Father Poole then keep going about 20 minutes up a dirt road till the Morrell Falls trail-head.

It is a good incline up and a nice trot down! Was able to spend the day with my friend Tracy, after a wonderful service for her Aunt Rosie. The sun shined on us and I know my grandma and her Aunt were looking down on us.

Thank you for a great day Seeley Lake!
