High Roller Goes Up in Vegas

The first wheel of the High Roller Ferris wheel goes into place today.  At 55 stories (550 feet) the newest addition to the Vegas strip will be the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. There will be 28 cars on the wheel each capable of carrying 40 passengers. A complete trip once around will take an estimated 30 minutes.  The latest cost for a ride was $30. The project is scheduled for completion sometime in 2014. There’s already a bigger wheel In the works.
