It was a classic tournament game in Bozeman for Third Place as Hamilton defeated Browning 74 to 69. Hamilton reached the Consolation game by beating Fergus-Lewistown 60 to 57 Saturday morning and Browning beat Frenchtown 69-62.

Both teams were within a couple of points of each other and were concentrating on three-point shots in the first half, but then settled back to mainly 2-point shots in the second half. By quarters, Browning lead 19 to 16 at the end of the first quarter. They also led by three at the half, 39-36. Hamilton traded leads through the third quarter and led 51-47 going into the final quarter. The Broncs slowly opened up a larger lead, ahead by nine points with a minute left.
Browning closed the gap with free-throws and the final score was Hamilton 74 Browning 69.

Hamilton Broncs had an amazing season with 26 wins and one loss.

Next weekend, the Hamilton Lady Broncs will be at the State Class A Girls basketball tournament in Great Falls. They will play Havre Thursday March 8th.
