Hamilton School District voters said "Yes" to two money issues in yesterday's election.

The 9.75 million dollar bond passed by vote of 2,754 in favor and 2,108 against. This will allow added classrooms and a new gym at Daly Elementary School. It will also build a new football field and track at Hamilton High School.

The general operating fund of $400,000 passed by a vote of 2,483 in favor and 2,402 against. That will make up shortfalls in budget from declining enrollment.

Superintendent Tom Korst told KLYQ that designs for construction projects will be next on the agenda with construction starting next year.

The U.S. Representative race went to Republican Greg Gianforte in Ravalli County with 10,415 to Democrat Rob Quist's 6,162 and Libertarian Mark Wicks 828.

Those are the final unofficial totals. A later canvass of the votes will make the results office.
