The countdown is on and the excitement is bubbling like a vat of potions for your trick-or-treaters.

Here's what kind of weather the Missoula area is expecting on Halloween. And while we're at it, some advice on what you don't want your kids doing out in the streets in their costumes.

It looks like rain may come into play, with a 50% chance of showers on Monday, and light winds up to 10 miles per hour. The high that day is expected to be near 50, and the evening's low around 40, so look for some raindrops and temperatures in the mid 40s by the time the kids take to the streets.

And here's a fellow that probably got no candy. A guy dressed up as a tree was arrested for blocking traffic in Portland, Maine. Yes, an adult, not a kid.  Officers warned him about obstructing traffic on a busy street, but he continued to...I don't know...leaf? Grow roots?

Now, a friend of the tree says the guy was merely studying traffic patterns. Uh, okay. I'd love to see the results of that study.  Happy Halloween to all the kids!
