Gun Giveaway Two

Steve Strand, owner of the Radio Shack store in Hamilton got a lot of notice when he put a sign up in front of his store that said, "Protect yourself with Dish Network. Sign up now, get a free gun." That was last spring. He’s at it again. After the first of the year he’ll be offering a similar deal to new cell phone customers and new Dish Network customers.

Strand is careful to point out that people can’t come in, sign up and walk out with a real gun. They get a certificate to a local authorized gun dealer. There they have to fill out the necessary paper work and pass the required background checks.
