Mick Delaney Named Griz Head Coach – No Longer Interim
At a press conference held today Tuesday, July 26, The University of Montana announced that interim head Grizzly football coach Mick Delaney has signed a two-year contract. Thus, ending his interim designation.
While press conferences held by the athletic department in recent months have usually included news of dismissals, insiders were fairly confident that Delaney would be given the head coach position at this conference.
