Grizzly football fans who wanted season tickets had to wait in line Monday morning outside the Adams Center ticket office.

The tickets had to be purchased in person, and are not available on GrizTix dot com. The season tickets for the 2015 Montana football schedule, which includes home games against four-time defending national champion North Dakota State and Eastern Washington, which has won or shared the last three Big Sky Conference titles, are $260 per seat.

Adams Center Box Office Manager Selene Fisher said the line was in place before box office personnel opened the doors on Monday morning.

"When I got to work this morning a little before 8 I already had a line of people up to the door," Fisher said. "Season tickets went on sale a little before 8:30 a.m. so our fans beat the staff here today. We had a nice line with three or four windows open, and steady business on the phones, as well. The phones finally slowed down about noon."

Fisher said there are still plenty of season tickets available in certain seating areas inside Washington Grizzly Stadium.

"We still have lots available," she said. "Those seats are in the end zone type areas like sections 111, 101 and 128, as well as seats higher in the north end zone, along with our east extension."

Also on sale is a three-game mini-pack, which includes a ticket for home games against Cal Poly on Sept. 5,Weber State on Oct. 10 and North Dakota on Oct. 24. The mini-packs cost $99 per seat. They are also only available for purchase in person at the Adams Center Box Office or over the phone.

Fisher said some reporters came to get photos of the line in front of the box office, but arrived too late.

"We had some media stop by to get some pictures or some video of the lines of people who were here to purchase tickets, and I was thinking to myself you need to be faster that that for the Griz fans," she said. "They were here early and these guys showed up late wondering where the lines were, but we had 'em all taken care of by then."

Single-game tickets, for both home and road games, will go on sale Monday, July 20.

The first game will be August 29 against four-time defending national champion North Dakota State, which is already the hottest ticket in town. The game will be the only college football game in the country, and will be televised on ESPN. Kickoff is scheduled at 1:30 p.m.
