Grizzlies Crush Eastern Washington

Did anyone out there see this coming? A Montana win, sure. But like this? If you did, then you are now a guest predictor on Scott Gurnsey's and my Grizzly Football Pregame Show!

In jaw-dropping fashion, the Griz forced six Eastern Washington turnovers, two of them for touchdowns, ran for four TDs, hit a long pass play for another and threw in a few field goals for good measure in a 57-16 trouncing of the Eagles.

Freshman running back Jeremy Calhoun tallied three of the rushing touchdowns in the first half and quarterback Brady Gustafson celebrated his return from injury with a 46-yard bomb to Jamaal Jones, and the Griz jumped out early and were never threatened.

It's on to Bozeman riding sky high for the annual Brawl of the Wild against the Bobcats. Scott and I will be on the air at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, for the Statewide Tailgate Show, ahead of a Noon kickoff on the Voice of the Griz, KGVO AM 1290/FM 101.5.
