Griz Soccer Team Advances

Congratulations to the Montana Soccer Team and thanks to Sports Information Director Joel Carlson for the news! Montana jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening 14 minutes and never trailed in the Grizzlies' 3-2 over Portland State Friday afternoon in the opening semifinal of the 2012 Big Sky Conference soccer toruney in Pocatello, Idaho. The victory, Montana's 7th sraight, sends the Griz to their second straight conference championship game on Sunday against the winner of Friday's second semifinal between host Idaho State and Weber State. The winner advances to the big soccer dance, the NCAA tournament. Nice job gals, and best of luck Sunday! DB
