It must be in the team playbook: Never make it look easy when you're playing on the road. But the Montana Grizzly football team took control in the fourth quarter with their best rushing performance on the road this season to walk away with a 35-17 win over 2-9 Southern Utah in Cedar City Saturday afternoon. Senior running back Jordan Canada ran for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Griz, who spotted the Thunderbirds a 17-14 lead midway through the third quarter after being tied at 14 at the half. But those three points were all Southern Utah would get in the second half. It may have been a costly victory as starting quarterback Jordan Johnson left the game in the fourth quarter and was seen on crutches after the game. Next week's opponent, Montana State, may also be without their starting QB for the Brawl of the Wild.

Up with Montana, Griz Nation!  DB
